Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you buy a course or book a consultation with us. Please read them before you check out — you confirm you accept them as part of the purchase.

Who you are contracting with
FST Consulting Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number [company number]), registered office [registered office address]. Contact us at hello@fstconsulting.co.uk or +44 7962 656292.
Booking a place
A place is yours once we have received your payment — or your first instalment or deposit — and sent your confirmation email. Until then your basket holds no seat, and cohorts can fill.
Cohorts run to a published start date. If we have to move or cancel a cohort, we will offer you a place on the next one or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are [VAT status — e.g. inclusive of UK VAT at the prevailing rate]. You can pay by card, by bank transfer, or in three interest-free instalments where that option is shown.
Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. Bank transfers must quote the reference we give you, and your place is confirmed once the funds clear.
If you pay in instalments, each one is due on the date shown in your account. If a payment fails we will email you and try again. If an instalment is more than [number] days late we may pause your access until it is paid.
Refunds and cancellation
Our 14-day refund. Tell us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund what you paid, provided you have not completed more than [proportion — e.g. 25%] of the course material. Refunds go back to the method you paid with, usually within 10 working days.
Your legal right to cancel. As a consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. If you ask us to start the course inside that period and then cancel, we may charge for the part you have already received. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
After the 14 days, fees are non-refundable, but talk to us: if your circumstances change we will usually move you to a later cohort once at no cost.
Your account and your place
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. A place is for one named person: you may not share your login, resell your seat, or let someone else attend in your place without asking us first.
Course materials
We own — or are licensed to use — everything we give you: slides, recordings, notebooks, datasets and templates. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning, during and after the course.
Please don't record live sessions, upload materials to sharing sites, or use them to teach a competing course. Work you produce yourself — your capstone project, your portfolio — is yours, and you may show it to employers.
Live sessions
Sessions are taught in small cohorts and depend on everyone being able to speak freely. We may remove someone from a session, or from the course without refund, for abusive or discriminatory behaviour towards staff or other students.
What we do and don't promise
We will teach the syllabus published for your track, provide the mentoring and career support described on the course page, and tell you promptly if anything about the schedule changes.
We do not guarantee a job, an interview, a salary or a pass in any external certification. Those depend on the market and on your own work. Any figures we publish describe the course itself, not a promised outcome.
If something goes wrong
If the course is not as described, tell us and we will put it right. We are responsible for loss you suffer as a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, but not for business losses such as lost profits or lost opportunity.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes, law and complaints
We may update these terms; the version that applies to you is the one published when you bought your course. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring a claim in your own courts.
Complaints go to hello@fstconsulting.co.uk, and we will acknowledge within [number] working days. See also our privacy notice and cookie page.
